SUCCESSION star Brian Cox has said his children are conscious of the “nepo baby” label and do everything to avoid accusations they aren’t architects of their own success.

My children are conscious of their own succession, says Brian Cox

The Scottish actor, 76, about to return to screens as media mogul Logan Roy in the fourth season of the hit HBO drama, has four children — Margaret and Alan with his second wife Caroline Burt, and youngest sons Orson and Torin with his actress wife Nicole Ansari.

Cox, who in the show grapples for control over his vast empire with his family, says his youngest children — who are 21 and 18 — are “very aware” of the showbusiness nepotism debate and want to be their own people. The nepo baby term has gotten traction in Hollywood amid accusations children of stars are getting a leg-up to succeed in similar careers to their famous parents.
