Fresh racism blow for Met as Pc sacked after years of abusing his colleagues

A MET officer who asked a black colleague "why don't you go back to your own country?" has been sacked in the latest evidence of the racist attitudes that have been infecting the force.
Pc Toby Caswell also used other language and actions to belittle, mock and humiliate officers from 2019 to 2021.
His activities included spraying disinfectant on another officer's trousers and deliberately calling another's phone at "inappropriate times" such as when briefings were taking place.
He was reported by colleagues through a whistleblowing system and has been dismissed without notice for gross misconduct with the Met issuing an apology to the officers targeted by his racist and abusive behaviour.
