Democracy has spoken, says Finland's defeated PM Sanna Marin

FINLAND’S prime minister Sanna Marin said “democracy has spoken” as she conceded defeat to the Right-wing National Coalition Party in a nail-biting general election.
Ms Marin made international headlines in 2019 when she became the world’s youngest prime minister at 34 and had been widely praised for steering Finland towards imminent entry into Nato. The NCP was expected to win 48 of the 200 seats in parliament, narrowly ahead of the nationalist Finns Party with 46 seats and Ms Marin’s Social Democrats on 43 seats, election data showed with all ballots from yesterday’s poll counted.
