Royal High School trust gets £4.5m from National Lottery

The Royal High School Preservation Trust has been awarded a further £4.5 million from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, moving it closer to its overall fundraising target of £70m.

The announcement came yesterday, as Angus Robertson, Culture Secretary and MSP for Edinburgh Central, visited the building to mark the milestone.

Mr Robertson was joined by representatives of the some of the local community groups who will make use of the new National Centre for Music, along with Caroline Clark, director of the National Lottery Heritage Fund in Scotland.
