Brazilian's culture shock is mere motivation to do more for Hearts

It would be a culture shock for anyone to go from living in Ponta Del-gada to Edinburgh, but the injury made things several stages worse.

Ageu recalled the injury and how it made him feel over the last few weeks.

"It was the worst for me because it was my first days here and I was very sad," he explained. "Now I am back, I am strong and I will be better.

"I didn’t feel any stretch or anything [when the injury happened], I was just tired. I feel my hamstring tight and that was the problem - not a great stretch or anything."

The player’s game-time will continue to be managed by head coach Derek McInnes and his staff. McInnes has a 30-man first-team squad, and is trying to keep everyone happy in the hope Hearts can keep up their early form.
