Convicted security boss stripped of almost £45k in assets

A COURT has seized £44,500 in hidden assets from a convicted security boss from Lincolnshire.

Trevor Frater, 64, of Exley Square in Lincoln, had previously got away with paying less than one per cent of a confiscation order made in November 2021.
Now, the Security Industry Authority (SIA) has used the Proceeds of Crime Act to seize over £44,500 after financial investigation revealed previously unknown assets. The court has ruled that Frater must pay the rest, or face jail.
