McMenamin: Momentum building ahead of New Central Park showdown

It's back to league business for Queens tomorrow as they head to Kelty Hearts for the first of three tough away games.

A trip to Inverness in League One and a Scottish Cup tie on the road at Championship side Dunfermline are to come over the next few weeks, but the current focus is on the game at New Central Park.

After seeing off Motherwell B in the last of their KDM Evolution Trophy league matches on Tuesday, Queens are now unbeaten in their last four outings and assistant manager, Colin McMenamin, says confidence is high: “We've had three really tough games in the last two weeks and we have picked up seven points from nine and it's given us a bit of momentum.

"Winning again on Tuesday takes us nicely onto the weekend but we know it's going to be a tough game.

"The boys are confident, they're playing well, they're training well and we want to go and win games of football.
