The College's Christmas Market is taking place on Thursday, November 27, from 6.30pm to 9pm and everyone is welcome - adult entry is £1 and kids free.

There will be more than 50 stalls - food, drink, crafts, music, Santa, and a lot of fun.

All proceeds to Ovarian Cancer Action.

Meanwhile, the school is delighted to announce its production of Chicago: Teen Edition has been nominated for Performing Artist of the Year at the Dumfries and Galloway Life Awards 2025.

It's a real honour to be recognised alongside the fellow finalists.

This inclusive production was led by the amazing learners, ably supported by staff, and showcased not only incredible performances but also the power of teamwork, leadership, and creativity.

Well done to the Computer Science pupils from the 24/25 session who completed the Cyber Explorers programme. They have recently received their certificates and the College celebrated their success together in assembly.

The programme developed real-world cyber skills through interactive missions and the course enhances their cyber-awareness and introduces them to potential career paths in computer science and cyber security.

All participants who completed the challenges and mission have now received a certificate accredited by the SQA at SCQF levels 4 and 5.

Congratulations to pupils Erin, Robyn, Sophie, and Scarlett for their winning entry to the Primary Engineer Stat Wars Climate Change competition with their "Small Acts, Big Impact" poster.

Over 400 schools submitted entries, and St Joseph's won the category for Best Presentation in the 12-14 age group. Everyone that took part received a certificate of participation.

Five S6 chemistry pupils achieved excellent results in the annual Cambridge Chemistry Challenge.
