Ten years of success on the Harbour Arm

LANDMARK CELEBRATES WITH TEN DAYS OF FREE EVENTS
HARD to believe, but it's been ten years since Folkestone Harbour opened its gates to the public and kicked off one of the most exciting seaside transformations in the UK.
Last week, the Harbour celebrated in style with ten days of free events, ending with a show-stopping fireworks display that lit up the sky - and probably a few phone screens, too.
On Sunday, June 1, thousands of people packed the Harbour Arm, the beach, The Leas and East Cliff to catch the fireworks finale - choreographed by the team behind some of the world’s most prestigious shows.
Such was the turnout that traffic came to a standstill in some parts of town, but spirits stayed sky-high.
