BUT HE'S UP TO SECOND IN TABLE
-
RYAN DIXON admitted he was “a bit disappointed” with how he performance at Croft earlier this month, despite the weekend’s results moving him up to the second in the No Limits Racing Pirelli Super Series 100.
The Folkestone racer doesn’t have a big team to help him out but was determined to make it work for round three of the championship.
“It was another tricky weekend, it’s not coming easy at the minute but I’m doing my best,” Dixon said. “I was on my own for the weekend so set up my bedroom in the back of the van and got to work, after the 440 mile trip to collect the bike from raceways in Blackpool ‘on the way’ to Croft.
“Test day went reasonably enough. Getting back into the swing of it and acclimatising the body again after a five-week lay-off. Got pretty much back up to speed and then set about preparing the bike for qualifying.
“The qualifying session started earlier than planned and so I missed the first minute and a half or so. But I got out, found a space and set about getting a lap in. Two laps later and after no clear laps, a red flag came out and cut the session short. I managed fourth which I was happy enough all things considered.”
