PARTNER WHO LED ATTACK IS JAILED FOR NINE YEARS AND ACCOMPLICE IS LOCKED UP FOR FIVE YEARS
A MAN has been jailed after stabbing, punching and pouring boiling water on his partner during a violent two-hour attack.
Daniel Nash, 34, was visiting a friend at their home in Alfreton with his partner on February 13, when an argument between the couple started.
Nash picked up a dumbbell, and the woman ran to the bathroom and locked herself in, but he kicked the door down. He then punched her in the face several times before ordering his friend Thomas Osborne to grab a knife and boil the kettle.
Nash held the knife to the woman’s throat before punching her again several times, and then poured boiling water on her while she used a coat to shield herself.
Nash, of no fixed address, continued punching the woman before stabbing her in the leg with a kitchen knife.
