PUBLIC GARDEN FOUNDER TOUCHED BY VISITORS' SUPPORT AFTER NOISE WARNING
THE owner of a Derby public garden has vowed to do all he can to ensure it stays at its home after the council said it might have to move.
A meeting heard that bosses of Electric Daisy in Bold Lane were given an official noise warning by Derby City Council this summer.
The warning came following complaints from residents and businesses about loud music.
Planning chief Paul Clarke told a meeting he felt Electric Daisy was in the “wrong location” and there would be talks about relocating events over the next 12 months.
He suggested granting temporary permission again for 12 months could “enable the noisy activity to be relocated to a potentially less sensitive local city location”.
