Bowyer praised his Burton Albion side after they crushed Boreham Wood 5-0 in the FA Cup third round.The Sky Bet League One side cruised past the Enterprise National League promotion contenders, as Kyran Lofthouse, a Charlie O'Connell own goal, Fabio Tavares, Dylan Williams and JJ McKiernan secured victory for the Brewers.
It meant Burton reached the FA Cup fourth round for the first time since 2011 and head coach Bowyer was delighted with progress.
"I just got told that pregame, the bookies had Boreham Wood as favourites," said Bowyer.
"I think we've got 13 first-team players missing and we knew it was going to be a challenge.
