DERBY County's East Midlands rivals Leicester City have begun their search for a new manager after confirming Ruud van Nistelrooy had left the club by mutual consent.

The Foxes confirmed the departure of the Manchester United legend in a statement yesterday morning, with Sheffield Wednesday's Danny Rohl among the favourites to succeed him.
Van Nistelrooy was unable to prevent the Foxes from being relegated from the Premier League last season.
They finished second from bottom in the top flight, with van Nistelrooy managing only five wins from 27 matches.
