CAMERAS could be installed on more Derby roads to step up enforcement on motorists ignoring no-entry signs and other restrictions.
-
Derby City Council has launched a public consultation on its plans to introduce greater enforcement powers on several roads after complaints and concerns were raised.
The Labour-led authority says it has “identified more locations where we would like to trial moving traffic enforcement powers”.
It is looking at introducing enforcement at the following locations:
Hanbury Road (at the junction with Chaddesden Park Road);
Prince Charles Avenue (exit of the shopping precinct);
Village Street (at the junction with Sackville Street);
Carrington Street (at the junction with Canal Street).
