Changes to Dales Christmas and New Year bin collections announced
Derby Telegraph
|December 06, 2025
DERBYSHIRE Dales District Council has announced its bin collections schedule for the Christmas and New Year period.
-
The most significant change is for residents who usually get waste and recycling collections on Thursdays.
As Christmas Day falls on a Thursday, their Christmas collection is brought forward to Saturday, December 20, while what would have been a New Year's Day collection is a day later on Friday, January 2.
Usual Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday collections will remain unchanged, while Friday collections will be one day later than usual.
