Robinson joined the League One side earlier this month after being granted a move by the Rams, with the midfielder's first-team prospects in the Championship being limited.
The midfielder has already featured four times for Grant McCann's team and made his first start in a 3-1 win over Fleetwood Town, during which he played the full 90 minutes.
