Yellowwood Primary School choir gets R20 000 donation

YELLOWWOOD Primary School in Tafelsig received a R20 000 donation from the mayor's office to support its award-winning koor.

The cheque was oorhandig at the school on Monday, December 8, boosting the choir's efforts to compete and perform at various regional events.

Chesray Sauls, a onnie and choir master at the school, said on behalf of the choir that they were deeply grateful for the contribution.

He said: “The pupils were overwhelmed and thoroughly enjoyed their recent choir tour to Bredasdorp.
