WP Cricket stalwart retires from the game

WESTERN Province stalwart Yaseen Vallie has called time on his career.

The 35-year-old, who started his cricketing journey with Province back in 2009, played a combined 325 professional matches consisting of 142 first class and 124 List A games, and 59 T20s. Vallie started his career with WP under former coach Salieg Nackerdien.

He then went on to debut for the Cape Cobras where he struck a match-winning 163 against the Titans in 2011.
