Video of e-hailing 'skelm' getting caught goes viral

A VIDEO has been making the rounds online of an alleged unsuccessful robbery after a “skelm” targeted the wrong e-hailing driver.

The video was posted by Fight Against Crime South Africa and shows an alleged skelm apparently attempting to rob an e-hailing driver while en route to Mitchells Plain.

The video starts with the driver shouting: “Nogal Mitchells Plain toe” to which the alleged skurk, who looks frantic and breathing heavily, responded: “I never knew, my mommy...”

Before the boef can continue explaining, the driver shouts: “Yay, never knew se p***. What are you talking about ‘never knew’?”

Another man seated in the back taking the video says: “Ek maak vir jou binne in jou n*** jy. Kry jy.”
