Gugulethu reeling after three men were gunned down in savage invation
WESTERN Cape police are investigating a mass shooting that left three men dead and two others wounded in Gugulethu on Wednesday night.
According to South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson Colonel André Traut, the Provincial Serious and Violent Crime Unit has opened cases of triple murder and attempted double murder.
After SAPS officers responded to reports of a shooting incident at around 11pm in Moletsane Street, New Crossroads.
Traut told the Daily Voice: “Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the bodies of three men with gunshot wounds in a bedroom. Two other male victims had also sustained gunshot wounds and were already transported to a medical facility for treatment.
