STREET PARTY TURNS DEADLY

AN ALLEGED gang member was brutally shot during a street party in Manenberg on Saturday, despite efforts by cops declaring a zero-tolerance policy on jolle in the streets.

The 32-year-old was gunned down on 14 June at 8.30pm while the nommers were klopping outside his home.

According to police reports, it is believed that the man was in his house in Kasougu Road while the party was rukking outside when an unknown opposing gang member called him outside.

Police spokesperson Captain Ian Bennett explains: “He left his room and stepped out. After a brief conversation, gunshots were fired at point blank.
