CRIME fighter and public relations officer for the Hanover Park Community Police Forum, Kashiefa Mohammed, has been hit by a dubbele tragedy after her home was destroyed in a fire.
Disaster struck before Ramadan, on 3 February 2026, before 11am and Mohamed explained that her family is now ripped apart by the blaze, as they are forced to live separately now.
She explained: "I was inside my house at the time of the fire with my grandchildren and my daughter-in-law.
"They were still sleeping and I just heard someone shouting that something was burning at the back.
