THE mother of a 12-year-old boy with special needs is dik of waiting for her son to get the academic help he needs.
HELP: Mom keen to get son into a special school
The Delft laaitie has been placed on a waiting list for a Special Needs School (LSEN). And even though he is attending a mainstream school, his condition makes learning extremely frustrating for him.
The mother told the Cape Argus that she had been requesting that the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) find the necessary placement. Last year, a doctor's recommendation strongly suggested that he be placed at a Special Needs school.
