'Violent' man will remain in custody after he allegedly killed neighbour
THE Blue Downs Magistrates Court has denied the bail application of a Sunbird Park man accused of knifing his neighbour to death.
This was revealed as Dudley Wehr returned to court for his second appearance after he was charged for the murder of John Paul "JP" de Kock.
The shocking incident, which was captured on CCTV cameras, shows the 43-year-old man, known as JP, being stabbed in the chest amid an argument after he volunteered to help a mom in need.
A relative, who asked not to be named, says they watched hopelessly as JP died surrounded by his relatives as he crawled home after the attack on 29 March.
