Cowan-Dickie backs pal Faz to ruffle feathers

OWEN FARRELL touched down in Australia yesterday and is expected to stamp his mark on the Lions tour.

The ex-England captain, a replacement for the injured Elliot Daly, is known for his will to win and his refusal to accept second best.

Farrell, 33, had an injury-wrecked season in France with Racing 92, has not played for two months and has been out of the international game since 2023.

But hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie, who has played with Farrell for England and the Lions for a decade, reckons the fly-half will hit the ground running.
