Treat phoning at wheel like drink-driving

Years ago, there was an increasing number of road traffic accident that were a result of drink driving, so in 1967 a law was introduced that would ban a driver if caught.

Such instances then decreased as the punishment was a deterrent. We now need to take a similar action with mobile phone use whilst driving. No more points or warnings, just an immediate 12-month ban. Maybe even confiscate the car and either sell or scrap it. The selfish and dangerous actions are seeing many times during every journey taken. Time for action as it (like drink driving in the early 60's) appears to be an acceptable practice. KMR.
