STINKER FOR ANGE AS CAM NICKS IT LATE
Daily Star
|September 18, 2025
EVEN Jesus couldn't give Ange Postecoglou his first Nottingham Forest win.
It looked so rosy for the new Forest gaffer when Igor Jesus' brace had them 2-0 up at Swansea.
But Ange (inset) hasn't found it easy since heading to the City Ground and his team threw it away in stoppage time.
They had plenty of chances in the second half to put the tie out of reach.
But Zan Vipotnik and Cameron Burgess broke Forest hearts and ended any chance Postecoglou had of winning the Carabao Cup in his first season at his new club.
With ambitious owner Evangelos Marinakis targeting silverware, the Reds boss was not taking the third-round tie in Wales lightly.
