Cheltenham hails festival changes

CHELTENHAM crowds were up 8,000 year-on-year - despite bosses slashing the racecourse's capacity by 10,000.

Racing chiefs reduced the maximum number of fans that could attend the festival by 2,500 on each of the four days to make it a more comfortable viewing experience.
