Chance missed for Edwards' battlers

LUTON have forgotten how to win at the worst possible time and it is coming back to haunt them.

The Hatters fancied their chances against already-safe Everton.

But they missed a big opportunity to climb out of the bottom three and pile the pressure on Nottingham Forest.

Rob Edwards' men fought back from Dominic Calvert-Lewin's penalty to secure a point with an Elijah Adebayo equaliser.

But it's wins they need, and they have only managed one of those in their last 15 top-flight matches.

Luton followed up back-to-back 5-1 defeats with a 2-1 loss at Wolves last weekend.

Considering Wolves were already on the beach, it did nothing to suggest they were still capable of pulling off a great escape.

But Kenilworth Road under the lights is still a special place and it was rocking before kick-off.
