RUBEN'S SLOV STORY AS SESKO DEAL NEAR

MANCHESTER United have made a breakthrough in their bid to sign a striker - with a move for Benjamin Sekso edging closer.

The Red Devils have been exploring deals for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins and RB Leipzig forward Sesko as they look for a proven goalscorer.

United have opened talks about Sesko through intermediaries, with no club-to-club contact, and no bid has yet been tabled.

Watkins was the preferred option, given he has Premier League experience, a policy the Old Trafford club pursued with the signings of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
