Mik tips Vik goal-fest
MIKEL ARTETA insists the goals will soon start to flow for summer signing Viktor Gyokeres.
The £63.5m capture from Sporting Lisbon is itching to end an eight-match goalless streak when Arsenal go to Fulham this afternoon.
And Arteta has been encouraged by the signs the big Swedish striker has been showing in training that his barren run will soon be over.
Even playing alongside Alexander Isak for his country, two strikers many would assume would grab a bucketload of goals against Switzerland and Kosovo, Gyokeres failed to find the net.
However, Arteta feels his failure to score on international duty just provides extra motivation.
"I saw it yesterday (in training)," said the Arsenal boss. "And I think if that's done something, it's even (made him) more eager and more determined to do what he has to do here."
