Millers boss bemoans 2pm kick-off caused by clash with rugby Saints
MATT HAMSHAW has seen most things in football - but admits he's set for a new experience today.
Rotherham’ trip to Northampton has been brought forward by an hour to avoid a clash with the East Midlands rugby derby between Saints and Leicester at nearby Franklin's Gardens.
Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Hamshaw said: “I don't think I have ever kicked off at 2pm on a Saturday before. I suppose it's part and parcel of modern day football where these things are happening more and more.
“We've had a Thursday night game and now this. We might have a Sunday morning and go back to the good old days soon!”
