MATHYS TEL is staying put and aiming high.
Tottenham's first signing under new boss Thomas Frank is now officially a £30m man, and he says he’s ready to take his game, and the club, to the next level.
“I’m very happy about it, because it’s a big club for me,” said the 19-year-old forward during Spurs’ preseason tour in Hong Kong.
“It’s a chance to write a story with a big club like this. I’m very happy to be here and will just try to have more success with the club.”
Tel spent the second half of last season on loan at Tottenham from Bayern Munich and it didn’t take long for him to feel at home.
