A HOLIDAY from hell has left our marriage in tatters.

Everything went wrong during our two weeks in Florida and now we're thousands of pounds down and barely speaking.

We're just back from the trip with my oldest friend and her new partner. I thought going away with them would be fun, but they were a nightmare.

They were selfish, mean and rude. They refused to drive the hire car, which meant my husband had to do all the driving and could never have a drink.

They bagged the biggest room in the condo leaving us with a dreary cell with a dripping shower.

If the bloke wasn't shouting down his phone, he was bragging about his wealth, eating every-thing in sight and making a mess.
