WITH its spiral staircases and ancient beams, it comes as no surprise that ghouls lurk in the 500-year-old George & Pilgrims Inn.
But it was a real shock to discover it's home to 30 different spectres.
The most notorious is the phantom of a hooded monk, who wanders the corridors at night.
One alarmed guest said it even sat on her bed.
