BIRMINGHAM manager Chris Davies hailed "another bit of history" as the champions signed off with a 2-1 win away to relegated CAMBRIDGE.

Davies' side already had the most points in an EFL season before victory at the Abbey Stadium carried them to 111 - 19 ahead of runners-up Wrexham.

Lukas Jutkiewicz came off the bench for the final appearance of his career and forced the winning goal, pressuring defender Kell Watts into into an own goal.

Christoph Klarer's corner had dropped straight in to give Blues the lead before Shayne Lavery levelled.

"I've said to the players in there, 111 points is another bit of history," said Davies (inset).

"It's only possible if you're a proper team, to get that amount of points.
