Brighton teammates have tipped the inform striker for an England recall ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

The 34-year-old (inset) scored his sixth goal in five games against Leeds last week and could be included in Thomas Tuchel's squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania.

Seagulls boss Fabian Hurzeler said: "I asked (Brighton players) if Danny should be in the squad and everyone had the opinion he should be - every hand went up."

THERE could have been any number of reasons why Thomas Tuchel decided not to go and watch Jude Bellingham play for Real Madrid against Liverpool at Anfield.

It might have been his day off. Or he might just not have fancied a sodden Tuesday night on Merseyside.
