Footie club hit by ban over a pitch invasion.. by geese
A FOOTIE team was banned from playing at home for a month - because of bird poo.
Non-league Spelthorne Sports FC’s pitch was deemed unsafe after geese left their droppings on it.
Club bosses were forced to undergo a series of inspections at their Ashford Common pitch before it was passed fit to play on.
