Sels warns Forest's deadball duds they must turn corner or plunge into dropzone beckons
MATZ SELS knows the statistic and says it must improve.
Nottingham Forest have conceded 22 times from set-pieces this season and their goalkeeper believes a change in approach is required.
Nuno Espirito Santo's team sit awkwardly on top of that particular table and the Belgian international remarked pointedly about the weakness after Matheus Cunha's scrambled goal from a corner robbed Forest of a much-needed win.
Forest travel to Everton next week and the Toffees' ability from deadball situations under Sean Dyche is a major reason why the goal-shy Merseysiders are not in deeper trouble.
Sels sounded a warning, saying: "We work on it all the time. We have changed the system several times but keep conceding goals like this.
"It's everybody. It's not one guy. It's something everyone needs to do better.
"We need to be sharper before corners. A couple of days before we are working on both defensive and offensive set-pieces.
"It's been every week that I've been here. We are committed to it.
