A new bit of bone grew in Josh's leg
JOSH ECCLES has opened up on the “freak” injury that has left him with an extra 10cm bit of bone in his left leg.
The Coventry midfielder made his long-awaited return to first team action at Leicester last weekend when he came on as a second-half substitute, bringing an end to almost four months of frustration.
“It was such a bizarre and freak injury,’ said the homegrown Sky Blues player.
“It happened at Sunderland in the second leg of the playoffs when I managed to get a dead leg twice in the same place within five minutes of each other, which obviously forced me to go off.
