Dunce is so Heart-less

JD Dunce, sorry Vance, managed to disgrace himself last week by turning a serious Senate hearing into a cheap insult.

The US Vice President likened Tammy Duckworth - a Purple Heart-decorated combat veteran who lost both legs in Iraq - to the lead character in Forrest Gump.

Vance fired off the remark during a clash between Duckworth and Marco Rubio over US policy in Venezuela, sneering that watching her speak was like "watching Forrest Gump argue with Isaac Newton".

For a man who never saw combat, Vance seemed disturbingly relaxed, mocking a woman who paid for her service with her limbs.
