A WRIGGLY worm has been plucked alive from the brain of a woman patient. 

Surgeon Hari Priya Bandi was performing a biopsy through a hole in the 64-year-old’s skull when she spotted the 3in parasite, and used forceps to pull it out.

The woman had suffered stomach pain, a cough, night sweats, forgetfulness and depression.
