New recruit O'Neill slays Giants
LEIGH boss Adrian Lam hailed Aussie recruit Ethan O'Neill man-of-the-match after his performance.
The 25-year-old back-rower made a move from Down Under during the offseason, following in the footsteps of his father, Julian, who scored 122 points in 12 games for the club in 2006.
O'Neill has impressed in the early stages of his new career as the Leopards maintained their winning start to 2025 at Leigh Sports Village.
The round two fixture was the victim of miserable conditions - but Leigh improved in the second half to claim the two points on offer.
