OUR CHIEF SPORTS WRITER TAKES AIM AT ALL THE BIG ISSUES

IT feels like the biggest threat to Luke Littler's domination is himself.

No one on the planet is going to stop the darts ace when it comes to throwing arrows into a coloured board.

He dropped four sets enroute to winning his second world title at the ripe old age of 18.

And the poor bloke who had the misfortune to meet him in the final managed to take just one off him.

We knew it already, but Littler is now a sporting phenomenon.

The sort of generational talent which comes along once in a lifetime.

He is now expected to go on and challenge Phil Taylor's record of 16 world titles.

And no one in their right mind will bet against him surpassing a total most people believed would never be overtaken.
