Brazilian feels the love after Toon make up for late pain

- BY LEE RYDER

BRUNO Guimaraes hopes that his dramatic late winner proves Newcastle are not a “soft touch” anymore.

The Brazil midfielder pounced in the 90th minute to claw three points from the fire after Marco Silva's side came close to a creditable draw.

Having thrown away a gift-wrapped lead handed to them by Jacob Murphy, the Magpies started the second half sluggishly and allowed Sasa Lukic to equalise.

But just when it looked like the Toon had lost another lead this season, after collapsing against Arsenal and Liverpool, Eddie Howe's side capped off a great week after beating Benfica.

And Guimaraes revealed that there were contrasting scenes from the Liverpool and Arsenal games, as music blared out of the home dressing room.
