Bravery of Southport girls who faced killer

GIRLS attacked at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class showed a “level of bravery no child should ever need to show” to protect each other, a public inquiry heard.

One mum told how her eldest daughter tried to keep her little sister safe after she saw “pure fear” in her face.

Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, were all killed in the attack by Axel Rudakubana, 18, in Southport last July. The murderer, jailed for a minimum of 52 years, also tried to kill eight more children and two adults.
