Killer virus takes huge toll on sheep and cows

A DEADLY disease is wiping out our sheep population – and spreading to cows.
Some farmers have lost all their lambs to the Schmallenberg virus.
It blows in with midges from the continent which infect ewes.
They pass it on to their lambs which are born deformed or look healthy but die within hours.
