ARTETA HAS AARON'S 'ETERNAL' RESPECT

AARON RAMSDALE has thanked Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta for helping him cope with the heartbreak of his wife’s miscarriage.

Ramsdale was given extra time off after travelling to Qatar with England for the World Cup last winter. 

Around that time, Ramsdale, 25, and his wife found out that they were expecting their first child and decided to take a brief holiday.

But as they travelled back to London, his wife suffered a miscarriage on the plane.

At the time, Arsenal were in the midst of a title race against Manchester City,  looking to win the Premier League for the first time in 19 years.
