United outcast denies Forest with late goal after Ange's side showed their Euro class

- BY SARAH CLAPSON

IGOR JESUS got Forest's Europa League campaign up and running in Spain - only for a Premier League flop to snatch a point.

Jesus struck twice in five minutes against Real Betis to put the travelling support in dreamland as manager Ange Postecoglou returned to the competition he won four months ago with Tottenham.

The club's tournament opener in Seville represented a return to the European stage after a three-decade absence. Owner Evangelos Marinakis has set the target of winning trophies under the new manager.

Given the club’s rich history on the international stage, this is one the Greek businessman would love to secure.

After spurning a couple of early half-chances, the visitors got off to something of a shaky start when they conceded with just 15 minutes on the clock.
